The children in Pre-school have really embraced our Explorer Topic this half term. They have enjoyed playing in our Explorer Camp role play area, cooking food around their campfire and using magnifying glasses and binoculars to explore their camp searching for insects. The children have also created beautiful butterflies using paint and made cardboard tube binoculars. We finished our topic with an Explorer Day dressing up day. We explored our school field searching for animal footprints and used wax crayons to make a tree bark rubbing picture. We also used icing and sweeties to decorate biscuits to look like spiders.
