Under The Sea
This half term we leap into the seas and oceans around the world to learn about life under the water.
Our larger role-play area has been transformed into a pirate ship complete with costumes and treasure! For those who do not fancy life as a deck hand there are mermaid costumes and jewels to become an underwater maiden.
A glance at the first week back-
In our creative area we explore how to collage an under water scene using different materials. As a writing activity we will be drawing images of life under the water and writing labels. In maths we count how many fish there are in total, find one more and one less, and order the fish according to their length. Our small world tables reflect pirate ships, life on the seas and we can explore different shells.
Keep checking back to see what we are up to in the following weeks.
