Jungles & Rainforests
We enter the Summer Term by exploring different habitats. Our learning will take us on an exploration through different jungles and rainforests around the world. We will look at the animals and plants found in the different layers within the rainforest and create animal fact files to share our new found information.
In our creative areas we will be exploring animal patterns and colours, discussing why different animals have different markings and how this helps them to survive.
As the journey continues, we will explore the African savannah and take a journey with Handa. Unfortunately, Handa has a few surprises with some local animals whilst collecting fruit! We will explore making fruit salads, printing with fruit and even have a go at solving mathematical problems involving addition and subtraction of different fruits.
