All the information found on our website is available free of charge as paper copies. Please contact the school office to make requests.

Our office is open from 8.00am to 4.00pm during term time.  If we are busy or the office is closed, please leave a message on the answer machine.  We will respond to messages as soon as possible.

Who to contact

If you have any concerns or queries about your child, please talk with their class teacher in the first instance.  Teachers are on the playground at the start and end of the school day.  However, if the matter is complex, you may need to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time to discuss the matter.  If you are not happy with the response and wish to take the matter further, please contact the School Office to make an appointment with the Headteacher.

If you have concerns or queries about the following matters, please phone the school or call in at the School Office:-

Updating information about your child – talk with Mrs King the Administrative Assistant 

Your child's health issues – talk with Mrs Harris the Office and Finance Administrator

Your SEND child – ask the office to arrange for Mrs Drinkall, the SENDCo, to contact you
 

Joining Pre-school – ask the office to arrange for Miss Johnson, the Pre-school Manager, to contact you or send an email to pre-school@southcottlower.beds.co.uk

Starting school in September or during the school year – talk with Mrs Maskery, the School Business Manager

Premises safety or maintenance – talk with Mrs Maskery

Safeguarding or Child Protection – please ask to talk with Miss Laundy, the Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead

The conduct or capability of a member of staff – please ask to talk with Miss Laundy about a capability issue.

The conduct or capability of the Headteacher - Please email the Chair of Governors at chairofgovernors@southcottlower.cbeds.co.uk.  If you would prefer to write, the School Office will forward letters marked 'Private and Confidential' to the Chair of Governors.

Free School Meals - Please phone Central Beds Council on 0300 3008306.  You will need your (and your partner's) National Insurance number, and the dates of birth of your child(ren).
