Personal Development

Personal Development

Personal development is at the heart of all we do, it is developed through:

  • Personal, Social and Health Education curriculum and provision
  • The school’s wider pastoral framework within LC2 (Child and Family Support Worker and Counsellor)
  • Growth mindset support – resilience development strategies for relationships and learning;
  • Transition support at the point of entry and at the end of Year 4;
  • Work to develop confidence e.g. Forest School, supporting peers;
  • Activities focused on building self-esteem;
  • Mental Health & well-being provision through use of mindfulness techniques such as Go Noodle, moving forward the ability to access support from the Leighton Buzzard Mental Health and Support Team (MHST)

Spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development is integral to personal development.
