We are extremely lucky to have had Mrs Thompson, a Forest School Teacher, visit us for several weeks this term and allow the children to experience Forest School at Southcott. The children have had wonderful opportunities to explore, learn and play in the outdoors, taking part in a wealth of activities that promote confidence, wellbeing, problem-solving skills and social skills. We have been getting back to nature and being adventurous in a way that we simply could not do in the classroom. Thank you Mrs Thompson and Ms Meekums - we have absolutely loved it!
